[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lock is beautiful & works well but after only 2 years it runs through 4 AA batteries in less than 2 weeks. Got a replacement & the same thing is happening. Running through 4 AA batteries in about 1 month. It was great for the first 2 years, rarely had to replace the batteries. Not sure what has changed but definitely disappointed in how much money I now need to spend on batteries.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally hired someone to install but when I replaced the garage door I was able to just do it myself
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish it mentioned somewhere before I purchased it that a hub would be needed to use some of the features. The hands free option requires Apple Home Kit, which requires an Apple hub, iPad set up as a hub, or Apple TV as a hub. The beeps are really hard to hear when using the keypad or opening the door. Other than that it works well as a lock.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the encode plus at my home and a rental and it makes it easy to send codes to let contractors in if necessary. It’s easy to connect and set up! I would recommend the product to anyone looking for ease of access, whether your a landlord or have kids and don’t want a million home key copies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I’m normally a little overwhelmed with technical home fixes like this, I found the replacement of my deadbolt and eventually handle with Schlage‘s Century line to be extraordinarily easy to do and one of the best updates we’ve made toy our home. there’s nothing better than getting to “throw away your keys“ - this is a must have for Anyone trying to simplify their life. I even went and installed one on my parents home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sell real estate, and I manage my own long and short term properties. I use locks far more than the average person. And if there is one lock I can always recommend will not glitch, has the best battery life, shows little wear after many years, and will always work when you need it, it’s a Schlage. Encode with WiFi helps me manage my out of state properties easily. Plain and simple, it’s the most reliable lock on the market.
