Great hardware and app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a month and it's been a pleasure to use the hardware is attractive and has a solid feel to its operation. It was easy to install. I had a bit of trouble configuring it for HomeKit but it works really well on iPhone using the app. So don't let the inability to use HomeKit put you off.

Great overall smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this smart lock for my front door and the encode smart for my STS. I would recommend them both. This one is for my personal entry, easy my young kids can use, it’s got wifi just in case but helps that I get alerts when it’s used and who used it. So far so good. You can’t go wrong with the plus or the regular of this model

Simplified My AirBnB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d heard so much about the Schlage Encode from other Airbnb hosts. I was using another keypad entry that fit into the same lineup as my doorbell and cameras. For every new guest, I had to manually enter an entry code name and set dates. I didn’t think much of it until Airbnb announced software integration with the Encode. Installation was fairly easy. It was basically like changing any deadbolt.
Now when I get a new guest, Airbnb sets the code, active over the duration of the stay, and communicates it forward to them. It’s taken one more thing off of my to do list. Worth every penny!
My only critique is the lack of a confirmation sound when key in, the door code. But that’s fairly small and scheme of things. I love lock and likely use it on future properties.
