And the app…is fantastic! I love the features and the wifi connection allows me to unlock/lock from anywhere making it convenient for guests, kids, delivery, dog sitter, etc.

Loses connection often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected the Schlage Encode to be the standard keypad entry for all 12 of my Airbnbs. Over time, units have lost connectivity to the Schlage app requiring me to replace locks between guests or attempt to troubleshoot under time restrictions. When they work, they are great. They just cannot be trusted to be used in a remote capacity such as mine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to go with the Schlage wifi deadbolt based on reviews. So far, we are extremely happy with the purchase and functionality. The Schlage app is great to set specific codes for people, and works in Google Home with all of our other stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and I’m very happy and impressed. I downloaded the app and I can lock and unlock the door from anywhere. Plus you can set up up to 25 different codes, both permanent and on a limited basis.

Easy to install and use

I had an older keyless Schlage lock that I installed six years ago. It was a good lock but not easy for my son to operate. This new lock is wonderful! The app is easy to use too
