Easy to use and instll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now installed a couple of these locks for my customers and hands down one of the best electronic locking system. Very easy to program and connect WiFi and directions make it a very easy install.

Nice Lock - skip WiFi and connect with Matter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ought and installed three of these Encode Plus locks. We use HomeKit and want a lock that integrates nicely.
Physical Installation was quick and easy. Good instructions and the process is straight forward.
Software Installation I initially setup on the Schlage App connecting the locks via WiFi as it instructs. Minor hiccups but was successful with all three. I have multiple WiFi antennas so each lock was close to a WiFi antenna.
After just a couple weeks the brand new batteries were running down on all three. I replaced with brand new batteries. After another 3-4ish weeks the batteries were running down again. This went on for several months. Did some internet research and others switched from WiFi to Matter/Thread connectivity.
I had to delete the locks from HomeKit and Schlage App, but was successful factory resetting and this time installed via the Apple HomeKit leveraging Matter/Thread. WOW! What a difference. Functionally there is no difference, but battery life is triple (or more!) verses WiFi. Again the functionality is identical but much better battery life.
