Easy to operate and works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting an installed, I had an issue with the door, not the lock. Install installed and downloaded the program. I like to feature that I can put it on the Airbnb app and schedule new codes with Tenants. I’d highly recommend this product.

Solid, durable product, but with some limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Encode Plus a nice product that has plenty of convenience features. It was easy to install and was mostly easy to set up. It was a bit slow at times to connect to my phone, but the real downside was that you can only connect to EITHER Apple HomeKit or A Google Assistant, not both. So households with mixed operating systems will not have feature or convenience parity. The app itself gives a sense of security, since you can check to see if it was locked, and remotely lock it if needed. I also wish that it has a proximity sensor to light up the keypad when approaching at night, since it's dark. The battery life isn't bad, maybe 2 months with daily usage before needing to change.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation was incredibly straightforward — all the hardware was high quality and fit perfectly on my door. Even with limited DIY experience, I had everything set up in under 15 minutes.
Setup and connectivity are seamless. The Schlage app makes it easy to connect the lock to my home Wi-Fi without needing a separate hub. The integration with Apple HomeKey and other smart home platforms works flawlessly, giving me convenient access control right from my phone or Apple Watch.
Security and peace of mind are top notch. The built-in alarm sensors and robust encryption help me feel confident that my home is protected. I also appreciate the ability to create unique access codes for family, friends, or service providers — and to review lock activity anytime.
Performance is rock solid. The lock responds quickly, whether I’m entering a code, using the app, or just walking up to unlock with HomeKey. Battery life has also been excellent so far.
Overall, the Schlage Encode Plus blends security, convenience, and smart features in a beautifully designed package. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a reliable, future-ready smart lock!

Love knowing when contractors are working!
