Great Lock Once Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical setup is as foolproof as possible. The lock can be configured for different thicknesses. The electronic setup is touchy and could be greatly improved with a step by step YouTube video. If using Apple HomeKit as I did, the functionality of managing access moves from the Schlage app to HomeKit, but checking the battery must be done on the Schlage app. Battery life seems to be greatly improved with HomeKit setup. Ability to unlock with a code on the pad, on the HomeKit app on an iPhone, or with Apple Watch, iPhone tap provides a lot of flexibility for unlocking from a car before approaching the door or opening with a watch with full hands.

Great product overall, few things to improve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very solid product. Works well, strongly built. I was shocked at how easy it was to set up. App is good on the Android platform. My one hope would be that they create a web app to manage the lock access on the PC/Mac platform.
Otherwise very happy with the deadbolt. Will likely buy more in the future.

Safe and easy to use lock

Great Connectivity without WiFi or cell service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were written so well that my 15 year old son installed the lock, set up the app, and got our phones and watches set up in about an hour. We needed an Apple TV box to complete the setup. We used a phone hotspot to provide WiFi to set everything up since our Internet was down. This lock still works without internet with our Apple Watches and phones. My youngest daughter doesn’t have cell service or wifi on her phone and she can still unlock the door with her phone and watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!
