Perfect lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No complaints. Easy to set up in the app and add new access codes. Installing on the door was slightly challenging. Screws were 1/8” too long to easily tighten the lock into the door face.

Awesome Lock, big interior casing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lock. I just got a new place and wanted to change the locks for security purposes. Schlege was the recommended brand on most security listicles and consumer sites. I also have two dogs that I walk at all times of the day and night, and wanted to make sure i couldn't get locked out without hiding a key (which often voids home insurance).
Anyway, I was going to put it on my front door, but it turned out it wouldn't fit because of the size of the bore hole for the original deadbolt is smaller than standard. I don't have a drill to fix it, so im a bit disappointed about that, but still gets the job done (on a different door).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent lock with some issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this lock to replace another well known brand that seemed to fail just outside warranty every time. So I went with a Schlage since I just replaced every handleset in my home with their products.
Unfortunately there are a couple issues that are making this not be a great solution. It was hard to get paired with Apple home to start but I eventually got it all working. The numbers are a little hard to see from the angle I see the lock when standing in front of the door. The marking on the keypad just isn’t distinctive enough. It should be more pronounced. So to open the lock with the keypad is a little bit of a pain. And lastly the batteries (4xAA’s) only lasted a couple months. I put very good batteries in from the start instead of what was included. I used Duracell Optimum batteries which are supposed to last longer. But a couple months in I now need to replace them. Maybe this was an isolated incident but we will see. I will try regular Duracell copper tops to see if for some reason they last longer. But I highly doubt it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
