Tolerates misaligned striker plates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a competing product also with HomeKit integration, but only Bluetooth-based. Periodically, that product would have the dreaded “no response” in HomeKit, which was likely because a more distant HomePod took over as the home hub and was beyond Bluetooth range. I’m told any Bluetooth iOS device linked to the relevant home in HomeKit should relay, but I digress. Here’s hoping this one with WiFi maintains a more robust connection.
Otherwise, this unit has a little more oomph and can overcome the slight misalignment of the lower strike plate for the door knob which needs tweaked to account for the thick weather stripping.
The only complaint I have is that HomeKit pairing is not as straight forward as one might like. It has to be initiated from the Schlage app, not from the Home app.
All in all it seems like a solid product. I’d consider replacing all my other locks if the price were a bit better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just recently started the switch from zwave to wifi and schlage encode have by far been the easiest to install and setup. I replaced all of the locks in my house in a Single afternoon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this great Wi-Fi deadbolt in a matter of minutes, added an entry code and haven’t worried about it since.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great can lock an unlock remotely. Dings my phone if someone else locks an unlocks door. Great product an looks good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This by far is my go to item in all of my rental units. It helps me to creat guest codes and specifically for how long and then delete. I can be notified of everything right on my phone. It’s reliable and the battery lasts long on the locks. My fav wish they were cheaper but you get what you pay for.
