Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this lock for a year now. The first one malfunctioned and Schlage replaced the lock. The lock is easy to set up and easy to use daily when we run out for an errand or gone all day. The issue we have had is with the WiFi and battery life. I have had to replace all four AA batteries 4-5 times in the past year. Our WiFi is on the same floor but a couple rooms away and struggles to connect to the lock. Since we have disabled the WiFi feature, the batteries last much longer, but we can’t control from outside the home. Overall it works well as a lock.

Easy to install, tricky to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mistake was buying the matte black model, though our door is painted black so it seemed like the best match. The problem with the black matte model is that unless the keypad is lit up the numeric touchpad is awfully dim. Our porch is covered so that doesn't help. So, the user must guess where to press the first number of a code. The backlit keypad lights up once that's done, so entering the rest of the code is relatively easy. But if you touch the wrong number or miss the number a bit, you'll enter a wrong code, wait for it to notify you of the error, and wait more for it to give you another chance. Imagine doing that in a hurry. A workaround is to first touch the checkmark icon, lower left, which will light up the keypad, thereby making keypad entry much easier.

Amazing lock and very easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock for my Airbnb It was so easy to install an easy to connect. It's really modernized the check in process for guests and takes care of issuing codes for each guest as well as deletes them after guests leave! Flawless connectivity to the app and Airbnb. I would highly recommend this to other Airbnb hosts.

Smart Lock that works with Apple Home
