Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We feel so much more secure with our Encode Plus deadbolt. The installation is so simple and easy to follow. The app is incredible. When we were out of town on vacation, we had a package get delivered and I asked our neighbor is he could place it inside our house. Being able to unlock our door from another state was so impressive. Our neighbor immediately wanted to know what lock we had so he could get one. Schlage is the only brand I’m familiar with and trust. If you’re in the market for a keypad deadbolt, get this one, it’s life-changing! Thank you Schlage for a great product!

Remote lock

I have short term rentals that I manage from afar and the ability to check the lock status and history, while managing access codes all remotely. I have installed this lock on several locations. The app has worked without issues.

Pretty great overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was straightforward. The app connectivity works well and being able to set multiple custom access codes is great.
My only complaint is sometimes the lock doesn’t recognize you touching the buttons and without you realizing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Ton of Features Offered, No Designed Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be a great lock if it wasn’t but for a few poorly designed and not very thought out features first if you live anywhere where there’s humidity or even a big variance or temperature swing you’re gonna have sweat in the lock you can put desiccant packets inside there and frequently open it up and dried out, but any place with humidity or any moisture in the air or any ability to have moisture in the air from hot or cold outside and opposite temperature inside you’re going to run into this wet problem. The company was great about supporting it and sending me a replacement lock, but the sweat still consent continues even in the new lock second, the programming is absolutely atrocious. The instructions look so simple but they just don’t work most of the time you have to reset the lock over and over again until it finally works. I work in technology for a living. Every once in a while, something comes along with the instructions are very easy however, it just doesn’t perform the way the instructions say it will. This is one of those things overall I love the features. I love opening it up with my Apple Watch and or my phone. I love that it connects to Apple home using matter and or Alexa or Google. It just has some really quirky things.
