Horrible lock with lots of issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a little over a year ago. We’ve had intermittent issues using the apple key. The color is flaking off the metal which is interesting since we barely touch the lock or use the code. It does take multiple attempts using a phone or Apple Watch to trigger the lock.
Recently I purchased a new phone and my wife got a new watch. The lock would not allow either to open. Followed the suggestion of resetting the lock. Now the lock won’t recognize anything via apple home kit, it won’t even connect to a WiFi signal and I’ve tried different networks. So now we are stuck using the keypad to open anything which we could accomplish with a much cheaper lock
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Lock For HomeKit

The Apple Home Key integration is an absolute game changer. Being able to unlock my door just by tapping my iPhone or Apple Watch feels like the future. No more fumbling for keys or entering codes when my hands are full.

A smart lock that finally works for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a few smart locks a few years back, and had nothing but problems and frustrations. One time I had to drive home from work early because the lock wouldn’t lock for a family member
I swore of smart devices for a few years, and recently decided to give them another try. After reading several reviews I choose the Encode Plus Smart Lock. Installation was fairly easy, and it’s performed flawlessly over the last few months. Having the ability to open the lock with my Apple Watch is a game changer. Highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Airbnb management company manages over 60 units, but we only have Schlage Encode locks on a handful of them. We are currently in the process of adding Schlage encodes to more of a properties as the battery life on them is far better than similar locks from competitiors such as Yale. These batteries seriously last forever! Highly recommend Schlage encodes to any real estate investor or management company!

Great keypad deadbolt
