Love This Lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this lock for weeks now and I’ve been loving it. Living in the Detroit area where it’s pretty cold at the beginning of the year and it’s been holding up just fine. Batteries last much longer than my ring camera and I have already purchased a second battery for that. This lock hasn’t had and hiccups and works every time. Home key, physical key, entry code all work like a charm. Thanks!

Good lock except annoying network requirements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used schlage smart locks for years. In the past I used the homekit models, but for this rental property I used this Encode model. I had to totally re-do my wifi networks, so my phone and the lock could both connect to 2.4ghz network. This is a real problem. Also, when you upgrade to a new phone, the app’s security token doesn’t transfer, so you need to reset your lock and set it up again.
