Good product but buggy app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a good product, very sleek and works as intended, the batteries last about 6 months in the climate I’m in (dry but 4 seasons). My only complaint is the app is extremely buggy. Every few months one of my locks will somehow disconnect itself from my app. It’s not a big deal, I just have to delete the lock completely and re-add it as a new lock. But it’s a pain; at this price point that extra 2 minutes shouldn’t be required. I believe this brand is the safest on the market though.

Stopped working in about 3 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The keypad got condensation in it after only a few months of use on our Miami home’s front door and stopped working electronically. So, now we have to use keys just like any other lock until we find a lock that can last. All of its best features don’t work. The predecessor Schlage lock lasted years before doing the same thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crazy access to your home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for families. Easy of letting people in and out with the click of your phone app. Program codes for people and can delete when finished. Great product. Only flaw it needs a light to see code pad used to be able to push the Schlage logo to light up keys but left it out on this model.

Secure with useful features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two of these to replace the century keypad deadbolts and these are better in every way. Installation was easy. Electronic/Wi-Fi setup was a breeze and the app is pretty functional and intuitive. My only detraction is that I lost Wi-Fi connectivity for unknown reasons shortly after install but after reconnecting it has worked since.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Short Term Rental features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most everything was great to use with the Schlage Encode app. I use my lock exclusively for short term rental. The physical setup was easy (replaced existing older schlage product). and so was the app setup. Creating and sending personalized codes was quick. Integration with Airbnb through the Airbnb app was simple with their SSO. The only glaring issue I had was losing ownership in the app which I will not go into detail. If it wasn't for that I would rate a full 5/5
