The standout feature for me is its seamless HomeKit integration, which makes it a dream for Apple users. Setting it up with the Home app was incredibly straightforward, and being able to lock and unlock my door using Siri or directly from my iPhone, Apple Watch, or iPad is a game-changer.
The Home Key feature is another highlight. It works flawlessly with my Apple Wallet—just tapping my Apple Watch to the lock unlocks the door instantly, even if my phone is dead. It’s incredibly convenient and has completely eliminated the need to carry keys.
Beyond HomeKit, the lock itself feels sturdy and well-built, as you’d expect from Schlage. The keypad is responsive and well-lit, making it easy to use at night, and the integration with other smart home platforms like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is a nice bonus.
The Encode Plus has brought both convenience and peace of mind to my daily life. Whether I’m locking up from the couch with Siri, setting up temporary codes for guests, or checking the lock’s status remotely, this smart lock delivers on every front. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier smart lock, especially if you’re part of the Apple ecosystem!

Easy Installation!

I like that it doesn’t have numbers that will show wearing indicator of key patterns. I also love that I can assign numbers to people and know who enters and leaves. I find it a superior product.
