Fragile, poor battery life

4 have failed in some way.
Two no longer work by key (they are easily clogged with dust)
4 have keypads that no longer operate or light up.
One has failed entirely.
Only one still works well.
Cold weather seems to have caused some of the failures.
I will be replacing all 5 with normal, keyed locks.

Rock Solid Smart Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage Encode Plus has been a rock solid addition to my smart home! I like being able to create unique entry codes for all members of my family, and get alerts with the family member’s name when each code is used!
Being able to automate the lock/unlock feature has also been great so that I don’t have to get up and manually check the status of the lock at night!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We LOVE this lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know why we didn’t buy this sooner! We all love it! It is seamless! We all have our own code to open the lock. I am alerted through the app when the lock opens and closes and who’s close opened it! I often use Amazon Alexa to open the lock from the car as I’m pulling in our driveway. We just love this lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed at how easy it was to setup and configure. Great UI in the app and it’s really helpful to have it connected to Apple Home so I can use my Apple Watch to unlock the door
