[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock is pretty good. I got 2 and 1 of 2 jams consistently despite troubleshooting. The battery life seems decent so far and I like that you can control it with the ring app the decrease apps needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great concept for being able to consistently change the access code for rental property. The only negative is that it’s not backlit, so guests tend lock themselves out. press it to light it up and that counts as a digit and can lock himself out.

Great for our Airbnb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have six of the Encode locks. Airbnb automatically sends out code for the guest. You can also make the code the last four digits of their phone number. It has made entering our properties a breeze. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works w/AppleWatch. Easy to install. No auditable single when open. Keypad could illuminate brighter. Pricey. Overall, impressive smart lock for Apple HomeKit.

Fantastic Smart Lock – Reliable, Sleek, and Easy t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Schlage Encode Plus for a few months now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. From the moment it arrived, the setup was intuitive and seamless—especially with Apple HomeKit and the Home Key feature. Being able to unlock the door just by tapping my Apple Watch or iPhone is a total game-changer, and it’s been incredibly convenient when my hands are full or when I’m out for a run without keys.
The lock feels solid and secure, just what you’d expect from Schlage. The design is sleek and modern, and it blends in beautifully with the rest of my home. I love that I can manage codes remotely, get notifications when the door is locked or unlocked, and never worry about hiding a spare key again.
Battery life has also been impressive, and I appreciate the real-time status updates. All in all, the Encode Plus combines security, convenience, and smart technology flawlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home security with a smart, stylish, and dependable lock!
