[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Encode lock. I had a Camelot before but the Century is more my style. I love having a WiFi lock that I can check on and lock/unlock remotely. Love that it sends a message when the pet sitter unlocks the door, and I also love the built in alarm for being forced open although haven’t used that feature. Only complaints- installation was difficult, I couldn’t get the bolts in at first but it eventually worked, and the Miami sun and heat kills the finish on the unit within 2 years. Now if Schlage would make the fancy door handles that many people use in addition to a deadbolt with WiFi and a keyless lock option, that would be amazing and I’d buy at least 2 sets for my house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this lock for about 3 months and it has been great. It was easy to install, set up and program. My girlfriend and I find the alerts and the wireless nature super useful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy installation with great features. The lock has been great so far. I love that I can unlock the door with my watch or phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks as good as it functions. Installation was easier than a normal door lock. The ability to have multiple codes for different people is great and being able to control it from my phone anywhere I have phone signal is great. Would not go back to a regular lock.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the lock performs well. Easy to install and set up. We already had 2 other locks in our house, and Schlage doesn’t make it easy to apply lock settings to multiple locks. In addition, sometimes it takes 5-15 minutes to register a lock event, which has caused challenges after leaving - thinking our door was suddenly locked while we were gone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Schlage encode for my new door replacing a Yale smart lock . I prefer the features the Yale lock has
