[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to door locks, two names usually come to mind: Schlage and K***set. I had a halo lock from the K brand and wasn't impressed. After I switched to a Schlage Encode Plus, with a matching handle set, I was so impressed with how much better of a product it was in comparison. Wow!

Easier then expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the combination deadbolt, w/keypad plus matching door lever and exterior handle. The directions were easy to follow for the deadbolt and keypad. Small, color coded pamphlet with clear visuals and actual size of the screws needed to eliminate guesswork and matching numeric codes with parts.
The door lover's instructions were the old/standard form of instructions (black and white, small print, looks like a confusing blueprint of something far more complicated, and codes for parts), disappointing since they made the deadbolt/keypad instructions a delight to use.
Update the instructions so that it's more use friendly and you would have a 5 start winner!

Way more responsive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was very simple and straightforward.
We had previously purchased a competitors Bluetooth enabled smart deadbolt and had nothing but issues. The previous deadbolt app was very slow to respond and most of the time, the app couldn’t detect the lock even when you were inside the house. At that point, I’m not sure what benefit a smart lock would have over a traditional manual lock.
So far, this lock is very responsive and also has the added benefit of being able to connect to your smart home devices.
