Great Lock and Integration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use Schlage locks at both of our homes one of which is a short term rental. These locks are solid and reliable. We use the Encode at the main house as part of our Apple Home setup. This too has been extremely reliable.

Works well, with a few drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well in general, great to have keyless entry that can be programmed and monitored remotely with built-in Wi-Fi. I find two things to be difficult with this paricular lock model. The keypad numbers are very hard to see until you press a key to enable the back light, and you cannot use Lithium batteries which means you'll be replacing 4 AA alkaline batteries every few months. With two of exact same locks, one at a rental property, it is far from ideal to pay someone locally to replace batteries with this frequency.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
