[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of luck! Be careful as it does. Lock the first time you close the door. I had to make my opening a little bigger, but that took the most time. I could not figure out how to get the face plate to stay on, so I just got all three pieces together and then it worked great.

Durable lock with good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased probably 20 of these over the past 7 years and I will probably continue to buy more. All have been used in a commercial setting and overall I am impressed with the quality. In a residential setting I imagine you could get one of these to last 10+ years but with the heavy daily use mine get I can only get about 3 years out of them. 3 years is much better than expected and I will say I have not yet had one completely fail before I can replace it. Usually they stop unlocking properly or sometimes a button will break off. My only real complaint is that these do fade and the finish starts to flake off after about a year if installed in direct sunlight. The photo I uploaded is of my most recently replaced at 3 years in direct sunlight and daily use. Not too bad!
