[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing an existing e lock of the same model from 16 years ago. The finish started failing around 6 years of age. I really liked the ease of installation better in the older model because it had a cast backing plate that attached to the keypad housing with a machine screw that made it easier to keep things from falling out when connecting the harness and tucking the wires in. I am a custom home builder and I am always looking for products that are more efficient to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Relatively Easy To Install

The only real issue I faced was that the volume of the expected beeps (when installing the battery and resetting codes) was very low and I went through each process several times before hearing the quiet beeps.
