Security and Smart. What more can you ask for?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock completely check all my boxes. I had a Kwikset halo and was on my 3 rd warranty replacement. Rapidly battery drainage was a major issue. Lock needed new batteries monthly. I had installed the encode at my girlfriend’s home and never had this problem. Purchased the encode plus and was a quick install both mechanically and app/wifi wise and works like a charm. Really easy to program. Love the way it looks on exterior and interior, clean and modern. Battery is holding up well. Great to use with iPhone and Apple Watch. I highly recommend this product for a secure smart deadbolt replacement.

Great Lock, Occasional Access Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage Encode Plus is a strong, well built smart lock with useful features like remote access and multiple entry codes. Once it’s working properly, it’s convenient and feels secure.
However, setup can be frustrating, and the lock is sensitive to Wi-Fi and battery connection. There were moments when the keypad didn’t respond at all, which is concerning because it means you can’t enter a code to get in. That kind of issue can make you feel uneasy about reliability.
Overall, it’s a good lock, but you need to be prepared for some setup challenges and make sure everything is installed perfectly to avoid access problems
