[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The encode plus isn’t Awesome addition to our home. Installation was easy and it connected in a minute definitely appreciate the added security of being able to lock the door or unlock the door while away.

Programming difficult and confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do wish that the programming was easier and you could just turn it on to run seven days a week from Monday morning at 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM at a certain temperature. Then it would switch to 6:30 PM to 6:29 AM the next day at a certain temperature. It’s very confusing as I can’t figure it out.

Ease and peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy and self explanatory to the point that you don’t need introductions until you need to program your deadbolt and even that was a breeze. And it’s nice to know that you have that extra layer of security at your fingertips via your phone or Ring app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed the Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt and have been extremely impressed with its performance and integration with the Ring app. Setup was straightforward, and connecting it to my home Wi-Fi took only a few minutes.
The lock is solidly built, feels secure, and operates smoothly every time. Through the Ring app, I can lock and unlock my door remotely, receive notifications when the door is accessed, and create custom access codes for family members, guests, or service providers. This feature is especially convenient when I’m away from home.
Battery life has been excellent, and the keypad is easy to use, even in poor weather conditions. The lock responds quickly to commands, and I haven’t experienced any connectivity issues.
What stands out most is how well it integrates into the Ring ecosystem. Having my cameras, doorbell, and smart lock managed from a single app makes home security much more convenient and easier to monitor.
Overall, the Schlage Encode is a reliable, secure, and user-friendly smart lock that pairs exceptionally well with Ring. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home security setup.
