10/10 Would Lock Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t usually write reviews, but this lock deserves one. We bought the Schlage Smart Lock thinking it would just make life a little easier. Turns out, it has completely spoiled us. If this lock ever quits, I’m pretty sure we’ll just move with it.
Installation was easier than assembling most “easy-to-assemble” furniture (looking at you, every bookshelf ever). It connected without a fight, works flawlessly, and has been rock-solid from day one. No more digging through pockets while carrying groceries, chasing kids, or trying to remember who borrowed the spare key.
This thing is smarter than some people I know. It locks when it’s supposed to, unlocks when it’s supposed to, and has never left us standing outside questioning our life choices.
The build quality is outstanding, the app is simple to use, and the peace of mind is worth every penny. If Schlage ever decides to make smart refrigerators or coffee makers, I’m buying those too.
Hands down the best lock we’ve ever owned. Five stars isn’t enough—I would give it the keys to my heart… but thankfully, I don’t have to because it already has the keys to my house.

Poor conectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is not very good staying online. Every two weeks or so it goes offline. I have an Airbnb in another city and very often I have to make the almost 4 hours just to re-pair my lock to the wifi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could not get tap to open work on iPhone

A bit disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Schlage in my previous home. Have gone as far as have gifted one to a friend and had multiple family members switch to Schlage. This lock has been disappointing. The battery is only lasting a few days, when I called support they blamed it on my internet and it having to look a WiFi frequently. It’s not an issue on my side, I know I can’t be on the higher 5G on small electric devices. I even had my brother who is a higher up master IT person for a worldwide company, ensure that I was connected to the correct 2.4 G WiFi.
I would recommend this to a friend!
