The real benefit is the ease of use with the WiFi connected Encode plus line. Managing access for my STR has been so easy, with the Schlage app allowing me to manage multiple locks/doors in real time. These locks have made securing and entering the property a breeze for my guests, cleaners or a helpful neighbor. Thanks Schlage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had many smart locks in the past. From August, U-tec, and others. This is the best by far! Easy integration into HomeKit, strong motor, tapered bolt so alignment isn’t a big issue. They really made a great product, and the many ways I can access my home means I don’t need to worry about carrying keys around ever again!

Love the quality, look and convenience

We gave assigned codes to family members so we always know who is in and out. We can lock or unlock from any location. Key pad works great and is not difficult to touch and open like some. Does not leave finger prints either. All around really great style and function. Definitely would buy another when we install a new back door.

Best HomeKey lock on market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried Yale and it was slow, tended to show locked or unlocked but not actually be so, and would become unavailable often.
The Encode Plus is very reliable. Responses are near instantaneous and automations actually work! I purchased three of these locks and will only by these if I ever need another deadbolt.
Oh, and rekeying the locks took less than 5 minutes!
