But after so many great reviews…..I could not resist at least giving it a go. Boy am I glad I did! Installing it was simple. Set up was easy. It works perfectly every single time! I could not be happier. If you have HomeKit, look no further!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I really like that you can program individual vides for people. You get notifications when the the door is unlocked or locked, by whom. If a person forgets to lock the door when they leave I can lock (or unlock) via the app.

Initial impressions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, though deadbolt assembly diameter was larger than the deadbolt it replaced, necessitating re-boring to 1”. Start-up time was prolonged—it would have been nice to be warned about this—there was no way to know why the HomeKit app would not initially recognize the unit; eventually it worked well. The tapered deadbolt was a nice touch. Schlage should consider offering an adjustable latch plate for their handle sets—this would make fine-tuning deadbolts so much easier. So far, one-touch opening with watch and phone is reasonably quick and reliable.

Best lock ever!

Really appreciate being able to unlock the door with my phone when I have a lot of groceries or packages to carry. Also appreciate knowing when someone comes and goes. This is a perfect lock for our needs. Also like the feature of being to unlock the door if we had an emergency.
