[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this lock for about 10 months. I’m on my second set of batteries, which is no big deal however half the time the exterior push buttons to get back in don’t recognize anything and I’m locked out of my house because I don’t take my key all the time I’ve confirmed that this is not a battery issue. This is a malfunction with the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Lock, Bad Instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The interface is great, and the physical installation was straightforward and easy. The lock also looks really good. However, connecting it to smart home apps was not as simple as expected. The instructions were vague, and it took several hours to get everything working correctly. In order for my wife and me to use our Apple iPhones and watches with the locks, I had to purchase an Apple HomePod mini so my wife could have an account. That requirement was not clear in the instructions. That is the big reason for the three stars otherwise I would’ve given this five stars for clear instructions and expectations on total cost of setting up the smart features.
