Best smart lock overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can only speak for myself but I’ve owned a fair amount of “smart” locks. I love lights, tech, AI assistants etc… After a bunch of failures from a previous well known lock (Yale assure 2) I went with this encode plus and it’s everything I asked for. It works! From HomeKit to Alexa & even Ring. It connects seamlessly and stays connected. 6 months and not one failure. Battery life is great even with excessive use. My only quarrel is it didn’t come with a factory sensor for closed door detection but I easily fixed this issue with my ring/homekit setup. Love this lock !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has been an excellent addition to my short term rental. It integrates with my property management software to automatically generate codes, and when I do have to use the app it’s very easy as well.

Great lock, one minor flaw.

I love how easy it was to set up and connect to my home WiFi network, allowing me to control and monitor the lock from anywhere using the Schlage or Apple Home app. The peace of mind knowing I can lock and unlock remotely, manage access codes, and receive notifications is invaluable. I also appreciate the compatibility with Apple HomeKit and being able to unlock it with my Apple Watch or iPhone. Installation was a breeze, and the lock feels incredibly secure.
