Encode plus deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was straightforward in a way and in a way not. After we got the signal split… Things went well. I’m not techy, but I was able to get through it. I appreciate the security, knowing that the door is locked and that the battery has some life in it.

Compatible with older Schlage handlesets

Reliable Wi-Fi connectivity • Auto-lock feature pr

After using the Schlage Encode Plus Smart WiFi Deadbolt for several months, I can honestly say it has become one of the most valuable upgrades I've made to my home.
Before installing it, I was constantly second-guessing myself after leaving the house. I'd get halfway down the street and wonder, "Did I lock the front door?" More often than I'd like to admit, I would come home and find that I had forgotten to lock it altogether.
The biggest feature for me is Auto-Lock. Once the door closes, I know it will lock itself after the programmed delay.
That peace of mind became even more important recently when there was a concerning incident in our neighborhood.
A suspicious individual was reportedly checking doors and looking for easy access to homes. He eventually found one that had been left unlocked while the homeowner was working outside. When the homeowner came back inside and noticed things had been moved, they discovered someone had actually entered the house and was using the shower. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it was a reminder of how important basic home security can be.
With the Encode Plus, I no longer worry about whether ! remembered to lock the door. I can also check the lock status remotely through the app and lock it from anywhere if needed.

Safety and security grate for Airbnb hosting

I love this smart deadbolt! The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and I can lock or unlock the door and change access codes right from my phone. It also sends notifications whenever someone enters or exits, which adds an extra level of safety and security. It's been perfect for managing my Airbnb remotely, and the installation was easy. Highly recommend!
