[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the century trim encode plus lock and support handle. The lock build and quality are excellent and installation was smooth including easy connectivity with Ring and Apple homesite.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought unit today, and the instructions said only a screwdriver was needed. Uhhh… NO! I needed a chisel, hammer, Dremel tool, power drill, and marking pencil. The strike plate did not align properly with the deadbolt, and it took two hours to get it to line up enough to work. After all that, it took at least a half dozen attempts to pair with my iPhone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed two units six weeks ago on our back door and a separate garage apartment. It’s very convenient and easy to manage multiple access codes for if we ever get renters or have guest. I had a little bit of a hard time with one unit as the door seem to be cut a little bit small, but no issues with the unit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 3 of these for a remodel and paired them with some Schlage handles. The look is beautiful and functional. So easy to program.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the Encode Plus for a rental property located several hours away from home. Installation and setup were easy. Assignment of unique access codes and notifications allow us to monitor who is accessing our property in real time. We can enable and disable codes to ensure that renters can only access the property during their rental term. Also love the ability to add a new code for a one-time repair. A side benefit is that we know if and when tasks are being done by our property management company. In one case, maintenance forgot to complete a task the PM thought was completed - having the lock ensured that we could send a reminder. It’s a bit pricey, but so far has been worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I manage an apartment building and I put 22 locks on about 5 years ago. And they have worked awesome. I had to replace a couple of them recently and they do not work the same in the app. They look great and they function great. The only issue is you cannot disable anyone in the app. I have people in and out constantly, and I like to give them access and remove it constantly
