Excellent Lock with Minor Battery Quirk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Schlage Encode lock. It’s very robust, well-made, and was easy to install. The app is also simple and user-friendly, which makes managing access really convenient.
The only downside is the battery connector can be a bit loose (a common issue), so I made a small adjustment to keep it snug. Since then, it’s been great. Overall, it’s a solid smart lock and I’d definitely still recommend it.

There were no instructions on the options and operating but it was easy to figure out and program for family and guests. I especially like the automatically generated note to send to those you give access codes.

Nice Features, lacking some very specific ones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly hoping i could use an NFC card on the lock, and control it entirely locally through HomeAssistant. unfortunately you do need to go through their app for it to work. HomeAssistant does have an add on for the lock though so you dont need to tinker too much

Solid, Streamlined, Secure

Connecting to my iPhone via the app was super simple and streamlined. The keypad is smooth and reactive. You don’t need to smash the numbers to input your code. But the compatibility with iPhone pretty much eliminates the need to touch the pad anyway. Solid secure lock overall. Would definitely buy again!

The setup was straightforward, and the build quality feels heavy-duty and secure. It’s expensive, but the peace of mind and 'cool factor' make it worth every penny.
