Awesome Smart Lock

I followed the qr code in the installation guide to watch the updated video and it guided me through the entire process, step by step. Took me about 15 minutes total. The app connection was also seamless and simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Schlage Encode for about six months now and it's been a game-changer for managing access to my property. Installation was straightforward – it took me about 30 minutes with just a screwdriver, and the instructions were clear. The lock fit perfectly on my standard door prep without any modifications.
The built-in WiFi is what really sets this apart from other smart locks I've tried. I don't need a separate hub or bridge, which simplified my setup considerably. I can lock or unlock the door from anywhere using the app, and I get instant notifications when someone comes or goes. This has been incredibly useful for coordinating with service providers and managing entry remotely.
The keypad is backlit and responsive, making it easy to use at night. I've set up multiple access codes for different people – some permanent, some temporary – and the app makes managing them simple. Being able to create and delete codes remotely without being physically present has saved me countless trips.
Battery life has been solid. The lock takes four AA batteries and I'm still on my first set after six months of regular use. The app gives me plenty of warning when they're getting low.
Build quality feels premium. It's noticeably heavier and more substantial than the previous lock I had. The finish has held up well to weather exposure, and the locking mechanism operates smoothly every time.

Also I like being able to check on the app to see if I remembered to lock the door without getting off the sofa or out of bed. This is my first time having this type of lock, I can’t believe I have gone so many years without a product like this! I love it!

Convenient Smart Lock
