[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage encode plus is a great modern solution to providing access to everyone in the home with individualized access codes and will be equally great for house guests. It is a comfort to know at a glance in the app if door is locked and notices are nice for knowing when kids are home and if they remembered to lock door after they are home. They extra security provides assurance that everyone is safe. Thanks for the wonderful product!

Great for Airbnb!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock makes it so easy to manage guest reservations as it integrates directly with Airbnb and automatically sets temporary codes for each guest that are only active during their stay. It even updates the code when you adjust for an early check in or check out within the Airbnb app!

Works great, excellent battery life, easy to install and link to my home hub via Apple TV. App is user friendly and interacts great with Apple home.

A Smart Lock That Actually Works

Unfortunately, they were nothing but headaches, constant connectivity issues, unreliable remote access, and clunky app integrations that felt more like workarounds than true smart features. After some frustration, we decided to replace them with the Schlage Encode Plus, and the difference was immediate and dramatic. Installation was straightforward, and setup through Apple HomeKit and the Schlage app was smooth. The Encode Plus connects directly via Wi-Fi, no need for an additional hub and works flawlessly. We love the convenience of managing codes remotely, getting real-time notifications, and using our iPhones or Apple Watches to unlock the door with a tap.Best of all, it just works every time. The build quality is solid and feels secure, the design complements our modern farm home, and the peace of mind we’ve gained is well worth the upgrade. If you’re building a new home or replacing unreliable Z-Wave locks, the Encode Plus is a no-brainer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lock is awesome, when it works. 95% of the time, the lock will be offline. I have no issues with WiFi in my house but the lock has a problem staying connected.
