Easy install and operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Schlage keyless wifi door lock. The first one stopped working after 6-years as it started to drain the battery after only 5 days of use. Rather than troubleshoot the problem we got a new one and it is much nicer and smoother operation.

Great lock, simplifies life

Makes life much easier being able to lock and unlock the door remotely or give out special one time PIN codes if I need a friend to check on the dogs or pick up mail. And it notifies you if someone is coming or going. Great tech!

Simplify your life…with a lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided (after months of reviewing) to go with the Schlage Encode Plus. We found a store about 1.5 hours away with stock. We purchased and once home, I installed the locks. It was very straight forward. No issues, and actually quite easy. The locks have made our lives much more simple, and I am happy with the decision.
The Good: looks great, easy install and setup, convenience.
The Not So Good: the only issue is that the locks disconnect from WiFi nearly daily. Signal is strong. Usually taking the batteries out for 30 seconds resolves it. I have yet to call Schlage due to time constraints. I’m positive it’ll be remedied.
Also, in all the reviews…no one mentioned you’d need an Apple Home hub device to share your Apple home and allow other family members to unlock with their phone’s nfc chip. No huge deal…we’re getting an Apple TV to remedy this.
Overall, great product!

Perfect functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart deadbolt fit my door perfectly. Installation instructions were easy to understand. Installed the app and the IPhone unlocks door with a touch of a button. Just as secure as the mechanical deadbolt I replaced. The app can send the unlock code to whoever you want to have it . I used SMS to send the codes to my wife and daughter after the installation. We love it.

The ability to add and remove code from your phone, lock and unlock through the app and het notifications on your phone has been a game changer. The fact that you can pair it to your echo and control it with voice commands it’s an added bonus

Battery life + durability could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a really rainy stormy weekend the keypad didn’t work for a few days. Now I’m changing the batteries (4AA) at least every month on a door we use maybe twice a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
