Works reliably, but room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2 locks I have work reliably so far, which is more than I can say about another brand’s smart lock I had before, which often failed to open. There are some annoyances, however. A major complaint is that it can be conveniently opened via touch with iPhones, but not with Android phones. To make matters worse, opening with Google voice commands requires a PIN, which makes opening the door a slow and error prone process for Android users. At least make the PIN optional, and better yet, support Google wallet via touch. The other area that needs improvement is setup, especially when a mix of iPhones and Android phones are involved. This is far too complicated, too confusing, and restrictive. For example, it seems impossible to set up Apple Home, if the owner has an Android phone. This kinds of details need to be better documented. The lock itself is solid, but setup and Android support should be improved.

Don't buy these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These locks eat batteries... Even when they are not being used frequently, batteries will have to be replaced. Keep keys handy because you're going to need them!!!
Remote unlock on these doors is problematic because the motors aren't strong enough to open the deadbolt if there is any pressure from even weather stripping holding the door secure.
You're a much better, much less expensive options available.

This lock is a good choice, but no Android NFC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock works fine. I like that the cores are swappable. I really wish the nfc feature for apple products was available with Android. There are other locks which have this, and many are calling for the feature. Also, the buttons not being passively lit, or there not being some sort of initialization button for the back lighting means it is difficult to not hit an incorrect button at first to get the light to turn on. I understand passive lighting would drain the battery in a day, but some bottom button that wakes it up would be nice. The only other solution is trying to hit the lock or unlock buttons.

Good but wish NFC had more capability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty easy to install, set up and manage access. App is decent too navigate and intuitive. Need to charge batteries about twice a year.
One thing I'm disappointed with is the NFC only works with Apple products. I assumed my Android phone could work with it and isn't entirely clear that Android didn't work with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not very good quality for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very expensive and unfortunately it doesn’t last very long until it brakes down.I had already replaced 2 and im on my third one already so if i win this sweepstake I most probably going to use the gift card to buy another one and have it for back up until the other one breaks
