Best lock for short-term rentals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt across all 10 of my short-term rental properties, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made as a host. It’s reliable, secure, and incredibly easy to manage remotely.
One of the biggest perks is its seamless integration with Airbnb. The lock automatically generates and sends personalized entry codes to each guest, timed specifically to their reservation. This eliminates the need for manual programming or key exchanges, and gives guests a smooth, professional check-in experience every time.
The Schlage Encode also connects directly to WiFi without needing a separate hub, which makes setup simple and keeps maintenance to a minimum. The app is user-friendly and allows me to monitor access, lock/unlock doors, and make changes from anywhere.
After trying other smart locks in the past, Schlage Encode stands out for its durability, consistent performance, and smart features tailored for hosts. I highly recommend it to anyone managing short-term rentals or vacation properties.

Very good all the way around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deadbolt is generally easy to install onto the door. The Schlage app is fairly straightforward and generally easy to setup. Build quality appears to be very good therefore this deadbolt should last for a long time. The warranty appears to be fairly complete, hopefully I will never need to use it. Highly recommend this product.

Keypad function is much better than earlier versio
