Great performing lock once setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We now have 2 of these locks on our doors. We found the installation on both our doors to be straight forward and easy to complete. I love how easy it is to change the batteries and there is plenty of notification when the batteries are dieing before they are fully dead. However we did purchase 2 of these locks and had very poor battery performance. Lasting only about 8-10 weeks of use. We contacted Schlage and they replaced them and so far the new ones have faired much better. I anticipate they will last 4-6 months now. My wife loves the Apple Homekey functionality of these, working flawlessly once setup. We did find it very finiky to get setup though. They provide great security with supplied hardware and it was easy to connect them to Wi-Fi. We love how we can add these to google home and confirm they are all locked before we go to bed, and lock with a voice command from the bed. We had no issues with these locks during the last winter here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
