Replaced Encode with the Encode Plus
on October 3, 2025
Posted by: Petrichor Properties LLC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Schlage Encode remains buggy eats batteries and randomly jams. The encode plus is a superior option. It comes with a hefty price tag but it’s well worth it. If only Schlage can make the regular encode go just as good I wouldn’t have to replace it but here we are.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock was easy to install. It took a couple of tries yo ger my code entered, but that was more me than the lock. I haven't connected it to WiFi, but I'm sure it will be fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It angers me literally all the time. Loses connection to batteries which aren't dead. Good idea, poor execution.
