Excellent Smart Deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed a Schlage Encode smart deadbolt on our front door in 2020. It was excellent! I was able to load a variety of access codes for everyone who needed to get into the house. When we listed the house for sale I added a new code with the nickname "Realtor" so I could keep track of showings. The best part was that we often had to leave the house with the dog for an indeterminate amount of time while there was a showing so it was incredibly handy to monitor when the realtor and buyers left so we knew when we could return. When we moved into our new home recently the first thing I did was install the newer version of the Schlage Encode Plus deadbolt. My only recommendation would be to make the face a light color (like the version that isn't "Plus") instead of black so it's easier to see the numbers without touching the home button to illuminate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation is always a breeze, sometimes the setup has issues. I purchase more of these for my properties then kwikset products though and prefer schlage. If wifi was quick and easy to setup these would be perfect...that and the keypad over years shows wear

Great Smart Lock with Apple Home Key

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this lock so far. It looks super clean on the door and feels solid, not cheap at all.
Setup was pretty easy, and the built-in WiFi is clutch since you don’t need a hub. I mainly use it with Apple Home Key and being able to unlock the door with my phone or Apple Watch is super convenient.
Adding and managing codes is simple too, which is nice for guests. Once everything is set up, it’s been very reliable.
Only small thing is the WiFi setup took a little patience, but after that no issues.
Overall, great smart lock—definitely worth it.
