Quick and sleek

It is sleek, faster than my August lock, robust, and slimline. I would buy it again. I only wish it could work with Apple HomeKit and the Schlage app at the same time. The ability to unlock with your phone is useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock works as described. The app is very convenient to use, however, I needed to contact Customer Support to assist with connecting the lock to the app. Since we live on the ocean, the cover has already started to lose it's Aged Bronze finish. I wish they had a more durable finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good product. Feels secure. Only downside is you can see the imprints of what numbers you press from the oils on your fingers which is a safety concern

Easy to use encode smart deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out with a different smart lock on my brand-new home it seemed to need al ot of attention to keep it running. I was tired of trouble shooting it, resetting it, changing the special battery for it. I was done, got the Schlage Encode - wow easy setup, batteries were normal double AA. Installed handed the lock installed app and boom set codes up for the family, gave it an auto lock setting and we were done. Just have had to change batteries once so far in the two years we have had it. The auto lock is such a great feature, but it spoils us because we leave and know its going to lock on its own. It also has an alarm on it although we don't use it its a pretty cool feature.

Awesome safe/smart lock for remote management

Being able to handle the lock remotely and integrate with other apps like airbnb , makes it even better. It was also very easy to install and setup. Highly recommend this product.
