Great Lock, some screen issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very happy with the lock. The ability to unlock it with a touch of my iPhone or Apple watch is very convenient. The installation was also quite easy. What wasn't easy was adding it to Apple Home. The Apple instructions omit the need to press the pairing button and just ask that you hold the phone near the lock. This wasted a good hour of time and I had to install the Schlage app to get this information.
This is a four star only review because of one item: The screen. Even lit it is almost impossible to see the numbers and it is not made clear that you can light the numerals by pressing the Home Icon. Even lit it's hard to read and impossible in bright sunlight so you have to guess at numeral locations. This is a fairly major issue. Schlage could remedy it by printing the numerals in a contrasting color and slightly increasing the backlighting. As a fix for existing locks they could manufacture offer a transparent screen conver with the numerals and provide that to owners for a small fee.
