[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So was excited for this to use the Apple unlock feature, still has not setup correctly. Also, it sucks that the touchpad doesn’t light up and the pad is pretty finicky

Great Lock for Airbnb/STR
on September 22, 2026
Posted by: Tori624
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swapped out a Kwikset Halo for this lock as I was having issues with battery life. I head about this lock from other Airbnb hosts, and the idea of having the codes automatically synced with Airbnb for each guest appealed to me. Installation was super easy and I was even able to leave the previous strike plate on. Connectivity was simple. Creating new lock codes is also simple. The bolt is quality and provides security.
My only gripe is that the numbers are very hard to see unless you hit a number button (then they all light up). If you don’t hit the correct first number of your access code the first time, you will fail to unlock the door and will have to input your code again. A minor gripe, but I have no regrets and I’m loving the connectivity of my lock with Airbnb!
I would recommend this to a friend!
