[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smart deadbolt installed without any problems. The quality appears to be quite high and durable too. Connecting to the WIFI was easy, and managing the access codes in the app simple.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install and use is simple. No issues connecting to my wifi router (located pretty close by). The phone app works well for setting it up and checking status.
Batteries were at about 25% after 4 months, which I think is totally reasonable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an old worn out electronics lock with a newer version of the same Schlage product. Installed easily and set up work once again deleted the old lock from the app. I’m Hopeful to receive the same or better results from this purchase as I did with the original. I really enjoy the convenience of not having to carry keys as well as having remote access for family. The product works well with many several other interfaces. I would heartily recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this product. Having the peace of mind knowing that we can check our locks from anywhere is the main reason we purchased this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of frustrating software and hardware issues with Level, I bought the Encode after researching my options. I have been so happy with the purchase, works flawlessly and installation was a breeze!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5)
I recently installed the Schlage Encode Smart Deadbolt, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase! Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
**Functionality:** One of the standout features of the Encode is its app. The Schlage Home app works seamlessly, allowing you to manage access and monitor who comes and goes from your home. I love being able to lock or unlock the door remotely. It’s particularly great for sharing access with family or guests without the hassle of physical keys. Notifications keep you updated, which adds an extra layer of security.
**Style:** The design of the Schlage Encode is another major plus. It boasts a sleek and modern aesthetic that fits well with various home decors. Whether you're aiming for a contemporary look or something more classic, this lock certainly adds a stylish touch to your door.
**Security:** As for security features, you can’t go wrong with the Encode. It’s dead bolt works with or with out batteries and comes with nice long strike screws. Overall, it feels solid and secure, which is what you want in a deadbolt.
**Downside:** However, there is one annoying hiccup I've encountered. When using the electronic deadbolt, it can be a bit too sensitive. Several times, I’ve accidentally hit the lock button as I was closing the door, which results in the door locking behind me unexpectedly. This little quirk has led to some frustrating moments, especially when I’m carrying items or trying to get in quickly. While it’s not a deal-breaker, it’s certainly something to watch out for.
**Conclusion:** All in all, the Schlage Encode Smart Deadbolt is a fantastic product with a stylish look, robust security features, and a great app. Just be mindful of that sensitive lock button, and you’ll be set! If you’re in the market for a smart lock, I’d recommend giving this one a shot.
