Wonderful Smart Lock!!

We have them on our front door and our back door going into the garage as well.
They both were easy to install and connected easily to our StarLink satellite.
Everything is super easy and we have great peace of mind knowing that no one is entering our home without our permission.

Reliable, Fast, and Worth the Extra Cost

I installed the Schlage Encode Plus on my side door more than four years ago, and it has performed extremely well with virtually no problems. Installation was straightforward, and connecting it to my home Wi-Fi and the Schlage app was simple.
The lock responds almost instantly whenever I use the app to lock or unlock the door. Connectivity has remained stable, and I have not experienced the frequent disconnects, delays, or jamming that can make smart locks frustrating to own. The battery life has also been excellent. Battery consumption is very slow, and I replace the batteries far less often than I expected.
Before buying the Schlage, I installed a Kwikset Halo on my main door. The Kwikset looked nicer and cost less, but after only a few months, it began malfunctioning, disconnecting from the network, and occasionally jamming. That experience is exactly why I chose the Schlage for the side door, and the difference in reliability has been significant.
The Schlage Encode Plus costs more upfront, but in my experience, it is absolutely worth the premium. Do not be fooled by cheaper competitors or a more attractive design. A smart lock is something you depend on every day, and saving money initially does not help if the lock becomes unreliable and you eventually have to replace it.
After more than four years of dependable use, I would confidently recommend the Schlage Encode Plus to anyone looking for a smart lock with strong connectivity, quick app response, excellent battery life, and long-term reliability.

2nd time is the charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I had a Schlage lock and it unfortunately broke after 2 years. The ease of use is good enough to make me purchase once again. Just wish the first one lasted longer. Overall, WiFi and app connectivity was solid and consistent. Installation was easy, especially the second time ;) App interface is very convenient and easy to use. All in all happy.
