Wonderful Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this lock now for a month and now looking to purchase a second one for our other door. This lock is amazing allowing us to leave the keys in the house when we go for our morning walks. Our 7 and 9 year old can now unlock and lock the door with ease, and when anyone forgets to lock the door we are notified and we can simply lock it from the app. My only wish is for my wife and I to both be able to use our Apple Watches to unlock the door but it only allows the registered owner certain features. I would love to see and update to were the homeowners both can us all the features of the device.

Feeling Safer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added to more Schlage Encode locks after having one for a couple of years. We love the safety and flexibility these locks give us.
If someone forgets to lock the doors, we know they will lock themselves, after the period of time we set. No need to lay on bed at night thinking whether or not the doors were locked.
If we want to go out for a bike ride or walk and don't want to carry keys, it is such a nice convenience. If we are away and need to let someone in the house we can do this remotely.
These locks are a great quality and we have been very satisfied with their looks and functionality!

Secure, Smart, and Seamless

Convenient as long as it's working that day...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this style lock for 5 years and have already had to replace it once a few years ago due to the batteries draining too quickly. It's very convenient to give codes to guests, children without phones, and neighbors who are house-sitting. However, we've learned not to rely on this feature due to a widespread issue in December 2025 through January 2026 where the wifi features of our lock (and thousands of others' across the country) were not functioning for over a month. This was an issue with neighbors house-sitting over the holidays as well as children getting into the house after school. I was logging in today to check if the connection was restored yet, when this survey popped up. If it's not restored today, I'll likely switch to a more reliable brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
