[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased one for a two car garage with a side apartment. My wife liked it so much she said, I would like them on all of the doors with deadbolt locks, so I went and purchased seven more. The ability to give out temp codes, to change codes, and to check the status of all locks and to lock them if needed, from virtually anywhere.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Schlage Encode Smart Lock and I’m really impressed. It’s very easy to use, and I love the app—especially the ability to manage the lock remotely and assign unique passcodes to specific individuals. That feature alone makes access control so much more convenient and secure. The built-in alarm feature is also a great bonus, although I’m still figuring out all the settings. Overall, it feels solid, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart, dependable door lock.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works every time. We have gotten to the point where we have to have this wherever we live. We’ve bought 3 and are buying 2 more this weekend for a new house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Encode deadbolt locks work flawless. I am able to give those i want access to our home when needed, with their own code that i can turn on and off quickly. Self locking schedules, no more forgetting to lock the doors at night. Phone app works great, easy installation and programming.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install. Easy to enter and exit. Do not have to worry about making a lot of extra keys. Never a concern about losing a key and having to replace it. Never have to worry about if you locked the door.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this lock 4 years ago and it just died. After about 3 years the battery electrodes started building corrosion and all electronic function just recently died. Of course the lock only has a 3 year electronics warranty so my expensive smart lock is now no better than any other dumb lock. If I knew I would have to replace this every few years, I would not have purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this style lock for 5 years and have already had to replace it once a few years ago due to the batteries draining too quickly. It's very convenient to give codes to guests, children without phones, and neighbors who are house-sitting. However, we've learned not to rely on this feature due to a widespread issue in December 2025 through January 2026 where the wifi features of our lock (and thousands of others' across the country) were not functioning for over a month. This was an issue with neighbors house-sitting over the holidays as well as children getting into the house after school. I was logging in today to check if the connection was restored yet, when this survey popped up. If it's not restored today, I'll likely switch to a more reliable brand.
