Outstanding Security, Quality, and Convenience
on June 8, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several smart locks over the years, but the Schlage Encode Plus is by far the best door lock I have ever purchased. The build quality is outstanding. It feels solid, secure, and well-made right out of the box. The finish looks great, the keypad is responsive, and every part of the lock feels like it was designed to last for years.
Installation was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear, and the lock fit my existing door without any major modifications. Programming and setup were just as simple. Connecting it to my home network and configuring user access took only a few minutes.
One of my favorite features is the ability to control access remotely. If I have a contractor, family member, or guest who needs access to my home, I can easily unlock the door from my phone or create a virtual key without having to hand out physical keys. This gives me peace of mind and makes managing access incredibly convenient.
Most importantly, I know my family is secure. The lock is reliable, dependable, and gives me confidence that my home is protected whether I’m at home or away. The combination of strong security features and smart-home convenience makes it an excellent investment.
I can honestly say this is the best smart lock I have ever owned. If I ever move to a new home or need to replace a lock for any reason, I will absolutely buy another Schlage Encode Plus without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Solid, Convenient Smart Lock for Apple Users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Schlage Encode Plus mainly for the Apple Home Key feature, and it has been very convenient. Installation was straightforward, the lock feels solid, and I like having multiple ways to unlock the door: iPhone, keypad, app, or regular key.
For daily use, it makes life easier, especially when coming home with hands full or giving access to family. It is not the cheapest smart lock, but the quality and convenience make it worth it for me. Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it.

Excellent Smart Lock – Seamless, Secure, and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be happier with the Schlage Encode Plus. It has completely transformed how we handle home security and access. Here is a breakdown of why this product is absolutely worth 5 stars:
Flawless Compatibility: The integration with Apple HomeKit (and Apple Home Key) is a total game-changer. Being able to just tap my iPhone or Apple Watch to unlock the door is incredibly convenient, especially when my hands are full of groceries. It also plays beautifully with our existing smart home setup.
Rock-Solid Connectivity: Unlike other smart locks that require a separate, clunky bridge, the built-in WiFi on this deadbolt connects directly to our network. The connection is stable, and I can lock or unlock the door remotely without any frustrating lag or dropouts.
Straightforward Installation: I was a bit intimidated at first, but the installation process was seamless. The physical lock fit perfectly into our standard door setup, and the step-by-step instructions made the hardware and software setup foolproof. It took less than 30 minutes.
Intuitive Interface: The app interface is clean, responsive, and incredibly user-friendly. Managing guest access codes, setting schedules, and checking the lock history log is completely hassle-free.
Top-Tier Security: You can feel the physical quality right out of the box—it feels heavy, durable, and secure. Combined with real-time notifications whenever the door is locked or unlocked, it gives our family total peace of mind.
If you are looking for a reliable, feature-packed smart lock that actually works like it's supposed to, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!
