The best lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock was super easy to install using the easy to follow instructions. I love the app and notifications when the door is unlocked and locked. The look works with our current door with little modifications. We definitely feel more secure knowing we have a good brand protecting us. Easy to operate interface.

Original unit crashed after 2 years and replaced. Two years later there replacement but wasn't covered because warranty was only covered by the original warrantee. Apparently these units only last 2 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for remote control - batteries not good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: The lock is great to control remotely. You can create, modify, delete codes, as well as unlock and lock the door remotely.
Cons: it uses double A battery which are eaten up within a few months. Also, the cartridge holding the battery is very sensitive/not tucked in enough and with people slamming the door shut, the cartridge easily comes out of place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Schalge smart lock for near 10 years and the original Sense is what I loved for Apple HomeKit compatibility. The new Encode Plus added new features to be more integrated with Apple system, and I am able to unblock the door with my phone or even my Apple Watch which is a huge convenience because I do not have to enter the code manually which makes the “flaw” of black keypad less relevant. The design is beautiful and Satin Nickel finish with added stylish. Perfect fit to my front door!
