Switched from Sense to Encode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Sense locks previously and struggled with WiFi connection for remote operations. Just bought an Encode and it is so much better with built in WiFi. Will eventually change all my Sense locks to Encode

Good lock poor Apple HomeKit compatibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hardware Installation was easy. However connecting to Apple HomeKit was unsuccessful. I was able to connect the lock to the Schlage app with no issues but not to the apple homekit app. I thought it was the lock itself, had it replaced with a new unit and still the same issue. The lock has the latest firmware v3.2.871596, phone has latest IOS 18.5… tried on 2.4 ghz network only, no luck, reset my entire home network and still no luck with HomeKit. Apple TV is updated with 18.5. I purchased this model exclusively for the apple homekey via the HomeKit app. What a major disappointment. This connectivity issue should be solved with a firmware update immediately. After searching online for similar issue was surprised to see so many people experiencing the same connectivity issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Smart Lock for Airbnb Hosts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Schlage Encode Wi-Fi lock on my Airbnb properties, and it has been an absolute game-changer for managing guest access. The setup was straightforward, and I love that it connects directly to Wi-Fi without needing an extra hub. I can create and delete codes remotely, which is a huge time-saver and offers peace of mind between guest turnovers.
Guests find it intuitive to use, and I’ve never had a single issue with someone getting locked out or confused by the interface. The built-in activity log is also great for keeping track of who’s come and gone.
It looks sleek on the door, holds up well in all kinds of weather, and integrates seamlessly with the Schlage app. I’ve been using it for months and the battery life is still going strong.
Highly recommend this lock to any short-term rental host who values convenience, security, and a professional guest experience!

All around amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is being used in a commercial area made to look as if it isn’t commercial. After trying 3 other electronic locks to serve our purpose, the Encode Plus really impressed me. It was so easy to install with no modifications to the door, and instantly paired with my phone. Most of our employees are not tech savvy, and had issues with previous locks. This lock is night and day compared to the previous. Customer privacy was the main concern, and with the lock history function and notifications we feel far more secure. The ability to quickly add temp passwords makes our method of privacy and security for customers a breeze. The backlit keyboard also makes it easy for customers to use. The app is very straight forward and simple. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy installation. Stylish to match my Camelot designs on other entryway. No hub needed for wifi. Can lock unlock and see if door is properly locked from the schlage app. Gave house sitter a temporary code. Easy peasy. Definitely a must for airb&b or short term rentals. Highly recommend for single family home use. Each kid has their own code. Great battery life. No setbacks after 2 months of use!
