Setting up code for the first time is a pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the instructions perfectly and setting up a new code seems difficult. The instructions are lacking and do not walk you through how to perform this task. I’m not going to use the factory code.

Easy Setup and Solid App

Smart lock for my smart home

Nice solid smart deadbolt lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built solid smart deadbolt lock. Has wifi & Apple Home connectivity and can be controlled with Schlage's own app, Alexa Echo devices or Google Home. Very convient. The key can be used as emergency backup to unlock the door should the 4 AA batteries die so you won't be locked out (as long as you have the key on you!). The keys on these Schlage's can be easily rekeyed if you need to. Overall a very solid lock.

Great lock usually, not weather resistant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lock works great but does not handle the could Chicago winters well when placed on a door that faces the elements. We have two of these locks and the side door that is more protected is great while the front door doors not seem to hold up as well.
