Awesome Wifi-controlled lock with keypad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Encode wifi deadbolt for 5 years and I am thoroughly impressed. Establish guest codes without your guests having to download an App to gain access to the lock. It is very simple!
The Schlage App is easy to use and has fantastic features. You can add permanent users/guest codes and temporary guests. The App allows you to set a timeframe for temporary guests (date/time to enable/disable guest code). This feature is awesome if you travel a lot and have a pet sitter, etc.

Once you establish the guest codes, the App offers to send a message to the guest with the code and timeframe. I love it.
The lock itself requires 4x AA batteries which I replace once every 6-8 months. You can check the battery life on the App.
I am very satisfied with my Schlage Encode and highly recommend it!

Makes life so easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this smart lock over 6 months ago. We have used the feature of being able to unlock the door from miles away in an emergency to let out dog wallet in. Also it allows me to track when people come and go when they enter the code. Never have to worry about remembering to lock the door. I can do it from anywhere. A must have. love it!

Great style and easy to use app

Reliable and Stylish Smart Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace a generic smart lock on my front door. While I knew I’d lose the fingerprint sensor and key fob functionality, I was excited to gain the ability to unlock the door using my smartphone. However, I didn’t realize at first that an Apple Smart Hub is required for full functionality. Even without the hub, the app allows users to unlock the door, which I had my kids install on their phones for convenience.
I really appreciate the sleek design, especially since all the doors in our home use Schlage locks—it matches perfectly. The ability to monitor and control the lock through the app has been incredibly helpful. The buttons are quite sensitive, and it took some time to get used to them, but overall, I’m very happy with this product.
